Be part of CQUniversity's Talent Acquisition Team, where you will have the opportunity to shape recruitment practices, identify innovative approaches to talent acquisition and contribute to initiatives that support the University’s workforce needs.

As Team Leader - Talent Acquisition, you will provide operational oversight and leadership to the Talent Acquisition Team, supporting quality recruitment outcomes while managing priorities, workloads and complex matters. You will also provide high-level advice and coordinate a range of employment and remuneration support functions in line with relevant legislation, standards, policies and procedures.

\n

This position would suit an energetic, ambitious and solutions-focused HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by improving the way we work. You will contribute to policy and procedural reviews, continuous improvement initiatives and the development of effective recruitment processes and systems, while providing advice on complex employment matters.

\n

You will work closely with managers and People and Culture colleagues to identify opportunities, share knowledge, support your team and deliver positive outcomes for the University.

• Leadership - Strong operational leadership skills and experience mentoring others to achieve high performance.

• Communication & Relationships - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.

• Time Management & Prioritising - Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines and oversee operational workloads.

• Policy Interpretation & Advice - Capable of interpreting enterprise agreements, policies and procedures, and providing clear guidance to stakeholders.

• Talent Attraction & Recruitment - Experience developing effective recruitment strategies, engaging different talent audiences and creating compelling recruitment content.
\n
• Digital Capability - Comfortable working across a variety of digital platforms (e.g. SAP, Workday, PageUp and Microsoft Office Suite), with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
\n
• Analysis, Problem Solving & Improvement - Able to analyse reports, data and trends to identify issues, inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
\n
