My client, a leading boutique asset management firm, is seeking a commercially minded Head of Marketing to drive brand strategy, digital growth, and investor engagement across institutional, wholesale, and retail client channels.

My client is known for an active, high conviction investment approach across Australian equities, global natural resources, credit, and alternative strategies.

The Opportunity \n

Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will own the end-to-end marketing strategy and go to market execution. You will play a crucial role in deepening investor engagement and accelerating AUM growth by leading brand positioning, CRM architecture, digital channels, events, and strategic industry partnership.

Key Responsibilities \n

• Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with distribution targets across retail, wholesale, and institutional segments. Translate complex market insights into high impact fund campaigns, product launch collateral, and thought leadership.
\n
• Digital Ecosystem & Content Strategy: Oversee digital channels including website, SEO, paid media, and LinkedIn, and drive content production such as fund updates, white papers, and webcasts. Monitor analytics to continuously optimise conversion funnels.
\n
• CRM, Automation & Lead Generation: Own the marketing automation and CRM infrastructure like Salesforce or HubSpot. Implement lead scoring models and automated nurture workflows to deliver qualified leads directly to the distribution team.

• Events & Communications: Oversee the end to end delivery of institutional roadshows, client briefings, webinars, and annual investor updates. Manage production schedules for monthly and quarterly reporting.

• Strategic Partnerships: Leverage and measure relationships with dealer groups, financial media, and research rating agencies.

Candidate Profile \n

• Experience: 8 + years marketing experience within funds management.
\n
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Australian funds management ecosystem, ASIC regulatory frameworks like RG 234 guidelines, and distribution networks across institutional, wholesale, and retail adviser client channels.
\n
• Technical Stack: Proficiency across modern CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot, marketing automation suites, and CMS tools.
\n
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional capability in working alongside senior portfolio managers, executive leadership, and compliance teams to translate technical strategies into compelling narratives.
