FORKLIFT DRIVER / STOREPERSON

Our valued client, based in Meadowbrook, Queensland, operates a regional display facility, warehouse and distribution hub supplying commercial ceiling and wall systems.
They are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver / Storeperson to join their busy warehouse team.

About the Role
This is a hands-on warehouse position, with approximately 70-80% of the role focused on forklift operations and general stores duties.
You will play an important role in ensuring products are safely received, stored, picked and dispatched efficiently, while helping maintain a safe, organised and productive warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely move, load and unload stock
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
- Moving, organising and maintaining stock throughout the warehouse
- Assisting with stock control and general stores duties
- Ensuring products are handled, stored and transported safely
- Assisting with manual handling and heavier products when required
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with the warehouse and operations team
- Ensuring daily warehouse activities are completed efficiently and accurately
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and physically capable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute across all areas of warehouse operations.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current forklift licence
- Demonstrated counterbalance forklift experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or distribution environment
- The ability to safely perform manual handling and some heavy lifting
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- A positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Full availability Monday to Friday - 7am - 3.30pm
