About the Role \n

MSS Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer to join our team at a secure site located in Myambat / Denman, NSW (Hunter Valley region) . This role operates on a 24/7 rotating roster , therefore full availability across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays is essential.

\n

The position offers $28.42 p/hr + superannuation + applicable shift loadings , with relocation incentives available for candidates moving to the area.

\n

Due to the nature of the site, applicants must hold a current NV1 security clearance .
\n Successful candidates will receive paid ongoing training , including site-specific training as required.

Key Responsibilities \n

Duties include, but are not limited to:

\n

• Conducting foot and/or vehicle patrols of the site
\n
• Monitoring and responding to security and safety risks
\n
• Providing a professional security presence
\n
• Incident response and escalation as required
\n
• Monitoring CCTV systems and alarms
\n
• Completing accurate reports, logs, and records
\n
• Onsite risk mitigation and compliance with procedures
\n

Skills and Qualifications \n

\n
• Certificate II in Security Operations
\n
• Valid NSW Security Licence
\n
• Current NV1 Security Clearance (Must Have)
\n
• Current First Aid Certificate
\n
• Ability to work under pressure and remain alert
\n
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
\n
• Full availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
\n
