Applications are invited for the position of Casual Secondary Classroom Teacher in our Waymaker Program at our Carrum Downs campus. We are seeking caring and passionate educators with a strong understanding of, and commitment to,Christian education. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in working withdisengaged youth,neurodivergent students, and those experiencingmental health challenges.

Flinders Christian Community College is a co-educational, non–denominational College with campuses located at Tyabb, Carrum Downs, and Mt. Martha offering education from K – 12.
The Waymaker Program opened its doors in January 2025 to provide high-quality education for students who cannot attend normal school due to anxiety, depression or PTSD. The Centre is located on the Carrum Downs Campus and is intended to provide a differentiated learning program in a counter-stress environment better suited to the needs and routines of these students than a mainstream setting. We seek to see these students grow and thrive in their social connectedness, wellbeing and learning, through belonging, believing and becoming in a way that equips them to live a full and purposeful life.
