About the Role:

Reporting to the People & Culture Lead, this is a broad and hands-on People & Culture Business Partner position supporting both operational and corporate stakeholder groups across a national workforce.

Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders at all levels, you will provide commercially focused guidance across employee relations, industrial relations, workplace investigations, performance management, engagement, compliance and workforce planning. You will independently manage complex people matters, interpret employment legislation and industrial instruments, and balance commercial outcomes with fair and compliant people practices.

The role offers significant variety and autonomy. In addition to managing day-to-day advisory activity, you will lead and contribute to initiatives covering talent reviews, succession planning, employee engagement, organisational development and people reporting. You will also help strengthen People & Culture governance, improve reporting frameworks, enhance systems and records management practices.

About You:

You are an experienced HR professional with a strong foundation in employee relations, industrial relations and business partnering. You are confident operating independently, comfortable navigating complexity and capable of building credibility with stakeholders ranging from frontline supervisors through to senior leaders.

You bring a strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and enterprise agreements, together with demonstrated experience managing investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes, performance concerns and workplace conflict.

You have successfully supported complex, operationally focused organisations and understand the realities of balancing people, risk and commercial outcomes. Your communication skills are highly developed, and you are able to translate legislation, policy and process into practical advice that leaders can confidently apply.

Ideally, you will also bring experience delivering people projects, engagement initiatives, talent and succession activities, workforce reporting and continuous improvement programmes. Exposure to growth, transformation or project-based environments will be highly regarded.

Additional Requirements/Benefits:

This role offers a competitive package of approximately $150,000 p.a., with flexibility for exceptional candidates.

The organisation provides a hybrid working model, generally comprising 3 days in the office and up to 2 days working from home, together with exposure to a broad range of people initiatives and senior stakeholder engagement opportunities.

South Western Sydney location with parking on-site.
