The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of a portfolio of commercial solar projects, ranging from 100kW to MW scale projects. The role carries single-point accountability for project outcomes, from site planning and design sign-off through procurement, construction, commissioning and client handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Safety: Oversee all HSE requirements across project delivery, embedding safe design, procurement, construction and commissioning practices. \n
- Design and delivery: Create, review and sign off site plans, single line diagrams and monitoring schematics; manage installation, electrical work, lifting, commissioning and monitoring of PV systems. \n
- Approvals and compliance: Complete grid connection applications, structural assessments and local council requirements to relevant Australian standards and guidelines. \n
- Procurement and logistics: Manage stock procurement across a range of suppliers; coordinate logistics to keep projects on schedule. \n
- Stakeholder management: Manage client expectations and maintain transparent communication with all relevant stakeholders, contractors and suppliers throughout each project. \n
- Team management: Oversee project engineers and subcontractors across design, installation and commissioning tasks. \n
- Quality: Ensure all work meets company standards, Australian Standards and industry best practice. \n
- Reporting: Track project progress, budget and risk, and elevate issues proactively to keep multiple concurrent projects on track. \n

Skills Required

- \n
- Sound understanding of the electricity industry and photovoltaic systems. \n
- CEC accreditation for design of grid connected systems. \n
- Proven project management experience on projects from 100kW upwards, including MW-scale delivery. \n
- Experience with both rooftop and ground mount systems. \n
- Independent thinker, able to identify procedural and technical issues and propose workable solutions. \n
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. \n
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management and communication skills, written and verbal. \n
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. \n
