The Role – General Insurance Investigator

We are seeking experienced General Insurance Investigators / Private Investigators to join our growing team servicing Greater Melbourne.

This role will involve end‑to‑end insurance claim investigations, including interviewing, evidence gathering, report preparation, and liaison with insurers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct General Insurance Claims Investigations

• Interview insured parties, witnesses, and relevant third parties

• Gather, document, and assess evidence (statements, photographs, records)

• Prepare clear, accurate, and professional investigation reports

• Communicate effectively with insurers and internal stakeholders

• Manage multiple investigations while meeting reporting deadlines

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current experience in insurance investigations or claims investigations

• A current Victorian Private Investigator’s Licence

• Strong time management and case prioritisation skills

• Established written communication and report‑writing ability

• A professional approach and strong commitment to client outcomes

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

Highly Desirable

• Knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice

• Proven experience conducting General Insurance Investigations
