A newly established underwriting agency is building its Sydney team and is seeking a Senior Strata Underwriter to play a key role in shaping its strata portfolio from the ground up. - Underwrite a portfolio of Residential & Commercial Strata risks, applying strong technical judgement across pricing, terms and risk selection \n
- Build and manage relationships with brokers and strata managers nationally \n
- Represent the agency at industry events, broker meetings and within the wider strata community \n
- Contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines and appetite as the agency scales \n
- Work closely with leadership to help shape the direction of the strata book \n

- Genuine enjoyment of broker engagement, relationship-building and networking \n
- Established relationships within the Strata / Broker community highly regarded \n
- Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving start-up environment \n
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset — this is a chance to build something, not just administer an existing book \n
\n
Why This Role
\n
- \n
- Ground-floor opportunity with a new underwriting agency, with strong backing. \n
- Autonomy to shape process, appetite and broker strategy \n
- Direct access to experienced senior leaders and decision makers \n

If you're a Property/ Strata underwriter who wants more ownership over how a book is built — rather than simply managing an inherited portfolio — this is worth a conversation.
