Opportunity

• Duration: 6 months
• Arrangement: Full time (hybrid)
• Location: Brisbane

About You

You are an experienced commercial lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.

Your Experience and Expertise

• Strong general commercial law experience gained in-house or within a leading law firm
• Extensive experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
• Proven experience advising on supplier agreements, procurement arrangements and vendor relationships
• Experience advising on customer contracts and supporting commercial negotiations
• Strong understanding of contract law principles and their practical application in a business environment
• Ability to identify legal, commercial and operational risks arising from contractual arrangements
• Experience providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders
• Demonstrated capability to manage a varied portfolio of BAU legal matters across multiple business functions
• Experience supporting senior executives and providing advice on strategic and operational issues
• Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities and deadlines
• Experience building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across different business areas
• Demonstrated capability as a true generalist lawyer with the flexibility to advise on a wide variety of legal issues
