For almost 15-years now Mamasita has remained at the top of its game, becoming a true Melbourne institution and a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.
Our Junior Sous Chef joins our professional kitchen team alongside our Exec Chef and Head Chef.
You will be joining and leading the team and services in place of our Senior Chefs and supporting the daily kitchen operations, including prep and production, service, ordering and organisation.
Ensuring our exacting standards and timeframes are met, you'll work closely with the front of house team to ensure every guest leaves happy!
We’re seeking a Junior Sous who joins us with:
At least 1-year as a Junior Sous, or 2-years as a Senior CDP in a comparable high-volume restaurant
Exemplary leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example, bea positivecommunicator, and inspire the team with your work, care and attention to detail
Highly organised and maintain order in the kitchen throughout services, setting the team up for success
Experience in Mexican and/or Latin American cuisine is advantageous, but not a pre–requisite
A relentless passion and love for hospitality
