Sous Chef
Werribee RSL is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our patrons in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to our high standards of quality and presentation
- Ensuring efficient and timely meal delivery to customers
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
- Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Working split shifts and weekends on a rotating roster
What we're looking for
- Relevant qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Chef in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, customer-focused setting
