About the Role

\n

ISS is seeking vigilant, professional, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be entrusted with safeguarding people and property across a range of client sites. You'll provide a visible security presence, respond to incidents, and help create safe environments where people feel confident and protected.

\n

Whether patrolling premises, managing access, or responding to emergencies, you'll be a key part of our mission to deliver high-quality, client-focused security services.

\n

Candidates must be available to work a 36-hour week, consisting of 12-hour shifts.

• Monitor and authorise entry and exit of staff, visitors, and contractors
\n
• Patrol premises to detect and deter unauthorised access or suspicious activity
\n
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and incidents with professionalism and urgency
\n
• Operate communication systems and maintain situational awareness
\n
• Inspect and adjust security systems and equipment
\n
• Prepare accurate daily reports and incident documentation
\n
• Promote a safe and secure environment through proactive engagement
\n
• Act in accordance with site-specific SOPs and ISS policies
\n
• Perform concierge duties (if applicable), including front desk management and visitor coordination
\n

What We're Looking For

\n

We're seeking professional Security Officers with a valid Security Licence to join our team, working 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour work week. First Aid qualifications are highly regarded.

• Valid Security Licence (state-specific)
\n
• Current Driver's Licence (preferred)
\n
• First Aid qualification (highly regarded)
\n
• Experience in security, customer service, or team-based environments
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure
\n
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and exceptional service Desirable.
\n
