Rear Lift Truck Driver / Yard Hand

Excell Waste Solutions are looking for a full time Yard Hand / Rear Lift Truck Driver

Employment: Permanent Full Time

Position Duties:

• Collection of rear lift bins in a timely & safe manner
• Complete bin repairs & maintenance
• Cleaning of all yard & workshop areas
• Vehicle washing & detailing & general labouring duties
• Bin deliveries & removals
• Pick-up & delivery of parts & consumables
• General yard / factory duties
• Working to Workplace Health and Safety and National Heavy Vehicle Regulation requirements
• Working and interacting with traffic, other heavy vehicles on commercial sites throughout Melbourne
• Daily prestart & maintenance checks on vehicles & equipment
• Communicating throughout the day with operations manager

Position Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Safety and Compliance in Transport environment
• Current HR Driver Licence & provide Vic Roads history print out
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Forklift licence preferred
• Flexible working hours
• Be physically fit
• Reliable & trustworthy
• Knowledge of Melbourne greater area, primarily South Eastern Suburbs
• Ability to work within a team
• Police check & ability to pass drug & alcohol testing
