We are seeking a Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Narre Warren South, VIC 3805 and offers the opportunity to work on diverse

What you'll be doing

Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wooden components according to specifications and design plans

Installing doors, windows, cabinetry, shelving, and other wooden fixtures in residential

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications

Using a range of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

Collaborating with other tradespeople and project teams to ensure seamless project completion

Conducting quality inspections of work to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

Providing advice to clients on materials, designs, and construction options

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner, ideally in residential carpentry work

Advanced proficiency with hand tools and power tools, including saws, chisels, sanders, and nail guns

Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery, and cabinet making

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately

Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and best practices in carpentry

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in varied conditions

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities

Current driving licence is preferred to ensure mobility between job sites

Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or a related trade are highly valued
