We are seeking reliable and motivated Meat Process Workers to join a busy and fast-paced meat processing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in meat production. The role will initially commence as a Meat Process Worker at $33.80 per hour, with the opportunity to progress into a Line Leader / Multivac Machine Operator role paying up to $44 per hour.

Progression will be based on performance, reliability, ability to operate machinery and demonstrate leadership capabilities.

As a Meat Process Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and handling raw pork, beef and chicken
• Working on a fast-paced production and packing line
• Packing, labelling and preparing products
• Performing manual handling and heavy lifting
• Operating production equipment and machinery as trained
• Completing quality and weight checks
• Following food safety, hygiene and compliance procedures
• Supporting the production team to meet daily targets
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

Progression to Line Leader / Multivac Operator:

Successful employees will have the opportunity to progress into a higher-level position involving:

• Operating Multivac packaging machinery
• Leading and supporting the production line
• Assisting with machine setup, adjustments and basic troubleshooting
• Completing production data entry and compliance documentation
• Conducting quality, weight and production checks
• Supporting and directing team members
• Monitoring production targets and workflow
• Using strong communication and leadership skills to maintain an efficient production line

To be considered for progression, you will ideally have:

• Previous Multivac machine operating experience
• Meat processing or food production experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good computer literacy and data entry skills
• Good reading and writing skills
• Strong understanding of quality, food safety and compliance
• A reliable and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting

Pay Rate:

• Starting rate: $33.80 per hour
• Career progression to Line Leader / Multivac Operator: up to $44 per hour
