  • Seeking an experienced Sample Reception Managerresponsible for overseeing sample reception activities, ensuring the integrity and traceability of clinical samples, maintaining compliance with quality standards, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Sample Reception team, ensuring efficient workflows and exceptional service delivery.
  • Oversee the receipt, tracking, storage and shipment of clinical samples, including domestic and international logistics.
  • Manage sample inventory and records through a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring data accuracy and traceability.
  • Ensure appropriate storage and monitoring of clinical samples and critical reagents across temperature-controlled environments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records in line with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Review and implement SOPs, policies and processes to support quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze operational metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service performance.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, clinical sites and external service providers.
  • Lead, coach and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture.
  • Ensure all laboratory activities are conducted safely and in accordance with relevant quality systems and regulatory requirements.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Extensive laboratory experience within an analytical, pharmaceutical, pathology, CRO or other regulated laboratory environment.
  • Hands-on experience conducting laboratory assays and working with clinical samples.
  • Demonstrated experience managing clinical sample logistics, storage and international shipments.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, including ISO/IEC 17025, GLP, GCLP or similar regulated frameworks.
  • Experience usingLIMSand database-driven record management systems.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
