About the Opportunity

We are seeking Flotation Operators with wet plant experience to join our team at the Wodgina Lithium Processing Plant. These roles are full time positions and can allow you to grow your skill set with on-site training and the opportunity to develop your career on the tools and as a leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate all plant sections, including:
  • Grinding
  • Flotation
  • LIMS/WHIMS separation
  • Thickening
  • Filtration
  • Control Room
  • Concentrate load-out
  • Tailings disposal.
• Monitoring mineral processing circuits, controlling grinding and separation equipment, and performing plant maintenance.
• Monitor and optimise operations by maintaining high housekeeping standards and conducting daily inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Complete any other tasks and activities within your competency as directed by the Site Leadership Team.
• Ensure compliance with all Company and Site Rules and Regulations as stipulated by the Company and/or the Client.
• Participate in hazard identification, assessment, and control.
• Provide input and feedback for plant and operational improvements.

• Ability to carry out work instructions and directives to provide satisfactory outcomes
• Ability to work within a team environment to achieve desired results
• Flexible and versatile attitude
• Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, loaders, and bobcats (Desirable)
• Experience in lithium, gold or copper processing operations.
• 2 years or above in a mineral processing environment.

Tickets & Licenses Required:

• Current Australian Driver's License
• Construction Induction Card
• Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing (desirable)
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
• Ability to meet pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements.

Minimum Requirements for Internal Applicants

• Have completed at least 12 months’ continuous service in your current role.
• Have a clear disciplinary and conduct record, with no current or recent safety incidents.
• Consistently demonstrate compliance with safety, operational procedures and Safe & Respectful behaviours.
