We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Operations Manager to join us on a fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave.

This is a broad role with responsibility across Production, Customer Service, Maintenance, Purchasing, Engineering and general operations.

The key focus will be ensuring the business meets its production, dispatch, and invoicing targets by identifying issues early, setting priorities, and keeping work moving.

Key responsibilities include:

Directing production and setting day-to-day priorities

Reviewing production schedules, capacity, and labour requirements

Managing Customer Service and supporting customer delivery requirements

Coordinating purchasing, stock management, and suppliers

Managing maintenance priorities and production-related issues

Monitoring performance, deadlines, and outstanding actions

Driving practical process improvements and follow-through

Providing Management with clear visibility of operational performance and risks

We’re looking for someone with:

Operations, manufacturing, and production management experience

Strong planning, prioritisation, and problem‑solving skills

Experience managing people and driving accountability

Confidence working across multiple departments

Strong communication skills and commercial awareness

A practical, hands‑on approach with excellent follow‑through

Manufacturing experience is preferred, but strong operational leadership and problem‑solving ability are most important.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 + super, depending on skills and experience
