About the role

As a Home Care Team Leader, you'll work closely with customers, Home Care Workers and the wider In-Home Support team to deliver outstanding care and support throughout the Bathurst region.

You’ll provide day‑to‑day leadership and field‑based support to Home Care Workers while continuing to deliver services to customers when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coaching, mentoring and supporting Home Care Workers in the field
• Assisting with onboarding, orientation and buddy shifts for new team members
• Conducting competency assessments and quality support visits
• Supporting staff to manage challenging situations and complex customer needs
• Monitoring compliance and providing performance feedback when required
• Facilitating team meetings and individual support conversations
• Providing hands‑on support for customers, including those with higher care requirements
• Completing administrative and reporting tasks that contribute to service quality and operational success

About you

You’re someone who naturally supports and encourages others.

You bring experience delivering quality care and are ready to step into a leadership role where you can help shape positive outcomes for both customers and colleagues.

You’ll ideally have:

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent
• Previous experience in Home Care, Community Care, Disability or related support services
• Experience mentoring, coaching or supporting other staff members
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Confidence using technology, smartphones and computer systems
• A proactive approach to problem solving and service improvement
• A genuine commitment to customer wellbeing and quality care
