Role Overview \n

The Sleep & Meditation Coach is newly created and will play a key role in elevating our guests’ stay from relaxing to truly restorative. This position combines expert knowledge of sleep and stress regulation with skilful meditation and relaxation teaching. You will be the human "heart" of ourSleep Easy program—educating guests about sleep, guiding soothing practices, and helping them integrate our unique sleep amenities and resources into a personalised rest ritual.

Key Responsibilities Guest Sleep Experience & Education \n

Welcome guests into the Sleep Easy experience with a calm, confident and caring presence.

\n

Educate guests on the foundations of healthy sleep, including sleep hygiene, circadian rhythm, and evening wind-down routines, in clear and relatable language.

\n

Introduce and reinforce the use of our tailored sleep offerings, such as:

\n

Sleep Menu and Pillow Menu

\n

Nightly turndown rituals

\n

Calming essential oil mists and pillow sprays

\n

Guide guests through theSleep Support Guide andSleep Easy Guest Portal (blogs, videos, and audio practices), helping them select the tools that best suit their needs and lifestyle.

Meditation & Relaxation Coaching \n

Design and lead gentle, accessible meditation and relaxation sessions for individuals and small groups

\n

Offer short, practical techniques suited to pre-sleep, jet lag recovery, and general stress reduction.

\n

Tailor sessions to guests’ experience levels and comfort, from curious beginners to seasoned meditators.

\n

Maintain a tranquil, nurturing atmosphere that seamlessly aligns with The Reef House ambience.

Program Delivery & Collaboration \n

Work closely with Management, Spa, and Guest Experience teams to integrate sleep and meditation offerings into the broader Reef House wellness program.

\n

Contribute ideas for enhancing theSleep Easy program, including mini-workshops, evening rituals, or seasonal offerings.

\n

Provide simple, elegant take-home tools (tips, routines, recommended audio practices) to help guests sustain their new sleep habits beyond their stay.

\n

Capture guest feedback and participation insights to continually refine and elevate the experience.

Required Experience & Qualifications \n

Demonstrated experience teaching meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, or relaxation techniques in person (classes, workshops, or 1:1).

\n

Sound understanding of sleep hygiene, lifestyle factors affecting sleep, and basic stress physiology.

\n

Highly polished communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak with confidence and warmth to discerning adult guests.

\n

Experience working in a guest-facing or client-focused environment, ideally within hospitality, wellness, or spa settings.

\n

Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Preferred Background \n

Formal training or certification in one or more of the following (or equivalent experience):

\n

Meditation or Mindfulness Teacher Training

\n

Health or Wellness Coaching, or Sleep-related disciplines

\n

Experience in luxury hotels, wellness retreats, day spas, or boutique hospitality.

\n

Familiarity with nervous system regulation, restorative and trauma-sensitive approaches, and working with a mature adult demographic.

A naturally calm, grounded presence and an ability to make others feel at ease.

\n

Warm, discreet and impeccably professional, with a genuine passion for guest care.

\n

Well-organised and reliable, able to manage a small but evolving schedule of sessions and guest appointments.

Intellectually curious and committed to ongoing learning in sleep, mindfulness, and holistic wellbeing.
