Helping Hands Griffin is seeking a Service Manager to lead a large, established Outside School Hours Care service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educational leader who enjoys developing people, driving service quality and creating engaging programs for children.

\n

Unlike many leadership roles, you'll receive 32.5 hours per week of dedicated out of ratio administration time, allowing you to focus on strategic leadership while remaining connected to your team through approximately 5.5 hours of in-ratio time.

Griffin State School is a modern, community-focused school with facilities that opened in 2016 and a strong emphasis on family and community engagement. The school features a fantastic nature play space, while our service operates from a dedicated OSHC area within the hub with access to shared indoor and outdoor facilities, supporting children across separate age-based spaces. Currently, the service is licensed for 180 children, with average afternoon attendances of around 130 children.

About your new role

\n

As the Griffin Service Manager, you'll lead the overall success of your service by:

\n

\n
• Leading, coaching and developing a large team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and Educators.
\n
• Get hands on support from nearby services at Bounty Bolevard and Mango Hill
\n
• Driving exceptional educational programs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
\n
• Acting as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor while ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework.
\n
• Building strong partnerships with children, families, schools and the wider community.
\n
• Managing service operations including budgets, rosters, enrolments, compliance and workforce planning.
\n
• Preparing your service for Assessment & Rating and maintaining high-quality standards.
\n
• Creating a positive team culture where people feel valued, supported and inspired to grow.

Qualifications

About you

\n

We're looking for an experienced OSHC or Early Childhood leader who is ready to take ownership of a large, high-performing service.

\n

You'll have:

\n

\n
• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2Year QualifiedEducatorin QLDin accordance withACECQA
\n
• Previous leadership experience managing an OSHC or Early Childhood service
\n
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Assessment & Rating
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
\n
• Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card
\n
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
\n
• National Police Check
\n
