About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diploma-qualified Educator at Rise Early Learning Surfers Paradise. You'll join a team of Educators, collaboratively supporting the learning and development of the children entrusted to your care. You’ll work in an innovative, age-appropriate environment where the RIE approach is embedded thoughtfully into daily practice; fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere. There is potential to step into leadership role, with an opportunity to support Educational Leadership within the service. Working closely with leadership, the right candidate will have an opportunity to ensure the delivery of a high-quality curriculum and care to the children while building strong family partnerships.

• Interest in and/or passion for and drive to embed the RIE approach into everyday practice
• Enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with our service
• Motivation to build and maintain positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community.
• Valid Blue Card
• Well developed understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• Available for part-time work across service operational hours (7am- 6pm, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week), and able to be flexible as needed
• ACECQA approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or can be working towards (depending on capacity/course progress). Degree qualified Teachers are not required, and therefore will not be considered at this time
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates, Food Safety and Child Protection training, with a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).
