Sprouts Early Learning – Shellharbour Village NSW

Our beautiful Education and Care Service is located in Shellharbour and is overseen by a Shellharbour Community Church Management Committee and an experienced Early Childhood Teacher Director. Our service operates from 7.00 am - 6:00pm catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years and up to 66 children per day.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Able to be assertive and show initiative but also act on guidance and work according to organisational standards and expectations.
• Able to effectively communicate with children, families, other staff and Sprouts Management.
• Work well in a team and able to critically reflect and implement changes to improve.
• Understand and model best practice and high standards.
• Passionate and an advocate for play based learning, nature exploration and sustainability.
• Not for profit community-based service
• Non-contact time for program and planning/ training.
• Democratic leadership which supports team autonomy
• High quality values and practices to support children’s learning and wellbeing
