About the role

\n

Work closely with the Director of Business Operations and theDirector of Community Relations & Development, providing trustedexecutive support across a diverse portfolio that helps shape thelife of the school.

\n

This full-time, continuing role offers genuine breadth acrossexecutive support, governance and committee administration, projectcoordination, stakeholder engagement and operationaladministration. You will play a key role in supporting areasincluding finance, human resources, compliance, capital programs,enrolments, fundraising, philanthropy and communityengagement.

\n

This opportunity is ideally suited to a highly organised andproactive Executive Assistant who enjoys building strongrelationships, coordinating complex activities and contributing tothe smooth operation of a thriving school community.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Provide confidential executive support including diarymanagement, correspondence, meeting coordination and workflowmanagement for two Directors.
  • \n
  • Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, briefing papersand meeting documentation.
  • \n
  • Coordinate governance and committee administration,including meeting schedules, papers, minutes and actiontracking.
  • \n
  • Support projects, events, interviews, workshops and otheractivities across the Business Operations and CommunityRelations & Development portfolios.
  • \n
  • Build positive relationships with staff, parents, alumni,donors, suppliers, contractors and externalstakeholders.

Role Requirements

\n

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

\n

    \n
  • Demonstrated experience providing executive or senioradministrative support.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational, communication andrelationship-building skills, with exceptional attention todetail.
  • \n
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, exercise soundjudgement and maintain confidentiality.
  • \n
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications, includingOutlook, Teams, Word and Excel. Experience using Copilot willbe highly regarded.
  • \n
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Clearance (orability to obtain one).
  • \n
  • Approval to work in Australia.
  • \n
  • A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic educationin the Mercy tradition.
  • \n
  • Work closely with senior leaders across two significantschool portfolios.
  • \n
