Consultant Anaesthetist - Perioperative & Pain Medicine Interest

Join growing regional anaesthesia service delivering care across a diverse surgical program. This role offers exposure to a broad perioperative caseload including general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics, emergency surgery and procedural sedation, with the opportunity to develop a subspecialty interest in pain medicine or perioperative anaesthesia. You will work within a collaborative specialist team supporting safe perioperative pathways, acute pain management and surgical service growth across the region. The department values clinicians with a genuine passion for regional medicine and the opportunity to contribute to sustainable specialist services outside metropolitan centres.

The Requirements
\n
- \n
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or nearing completion \n
- Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA \n
- Interest in developing subspecialty practice in pain medicine or perioperative anaesthesia \n
- International specialists eligible for the AHPRA Specialist Pathway with ANZCA interview date or Substantially Comparable outcome. \n
