We're seeking a Mechanical Apprentice to join our Gepps Cross Board Plant. This is a full-time Fixed-term role on a day shift 6 am – 2.30 pm with overtime available. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you'll play a role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

\n

What you'll do

\n

\n
• Working under the supervision of qualified Fitters to complete routine maintenance tasks.
\n
• Attending TAFE and completing coursework to complete your apprenticeship.
\n
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies and procedures.
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
\n

What you'll bring

\n
• Any level of experience, from 1st year through to 3rd year.
\n
• Mechanically minded and interested in hands-on tasks.
\n
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a bonus.
\n
• Passion for your trade and willingness to learn.
\n
• A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
\n
