About the Role \n
The opportunity has arisen for a Junior Chemist to join our fast-paced Port Melbourne laboratory, working with fuels, petrochemicals, oils, and coal. The successful candidate will have a degree in Chemistry or related scientific field.This this a fulltime, permanent position.

To conduct routine laboratory tests in an Oil and Gas testing laboratory.
\n
Report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
\n
Prepare and standardize laboratory reagents.
\n
Assist in development and optimization of testing procedures.
\n
Collaborate with team member to meet deadlines.
Selection Criteria \n
Bsc in Chemistry or another relevant scientific field.
\n
Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and protocols.
\n
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new testing methodologies.
\n
Strong attention to detail.
\n
Organisational skills.
\n
Understanding on Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email.
\n
Sensitivity in dealing with confidential information.
