Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes rooted in Egyptian and Arabic culinary traditions.
• Design and refine menus to ensure authenticity while incorporating innovative ideas.
• Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Source, select, and manage ingredients, ensuring freshness and compliance with Australian food standards.
• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain excellence in preparation and service.
• Ensure the kitchen complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal and promotional menu offerings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a chef specializing in Egyptian and/or Arabic cuisine.
• In-depth knowledge of traditional recipes, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.
• Experience in managing a professional kitchen, including staff supervision and inventory control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to adapt recipes and techniques to local preferences while staying true to cultural authenticity.
• A passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
• Previous international work experience is a plus.
• English language proficiency (basic communication skills at minimum).
• The candidate should be willing to relocate to Australia
