The Game Day & Events Manager leads the event program for all Manly Warringah Sea Eagles NRL home games at 4 Pines Park and acts as the Club's management lead across major Club events and experiences. This is a hands-on, high-energy leadership role for an innovative, creative and dynamic event specialist who has a genuine passion for bringing live events to life. The role is responsible for creating and delivering memorable experiences for Sea Eagles Members, fans, partners, players and guests — ensuring every home game and major Club event is engaging, entertaining, seamless and distinctly Sea Eagles.

Key responsibilities \n

\n
• Lead the end-to-end event experience and program for all NRL home games at 4 Pines Park
\n
• Develop and deliver game day experiences that create atmosphere, energy and excitement for Members and fans
\n
• Lead game day planning, programming, run sheets, briefings and debriefings across internal teams and external stakeholders
\n
• Work closely with the Football Department on home and away team requirements, acting as the primary Club contact for visiting/away teams on game day
\n
• Lead the creative development and delivery of the Club's game day fan experience, ensuring every touchpoint contributes to an exciting and memorable occasion
\n
• Develop innovative concepts, entertainment and activations that increase fan engagement and create a strong sense of occasion around NRL home games
\n
• Lead the Club's annual Major Events Calendar, incorporating fan, Member, community, football, commercial and Club events
\n
• Act as the Club's management lead for major Club events, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality experiences
\n
• Develop, manage and monitor game day and Club event budgets
\n
• Establish a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the Club's game day and events program
\n

About you \n

\n
• Tertiary qualification in Event Management, Sport Management, Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
\n
• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering major events, live events, sporting events, experiential activations, production or in a similar agency/venue environment
\n
• Demonstrated experience leading the delivery of live events from concept through to execution
\n
• Strong understanding of event production, entertainment, fan engagement and the customer experience
\n
• Proven ability to manage multiple moving parts, competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Exceptional organisational and project management skills
\n
• Strong creative thinking and the ability to turn ideas into practical, engaging event experiences
\n
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
\n
• Strong commercial and budget management capability
\n
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet when things don't go to plan
\n
