This is a pivotal opportunity within our Transactional Services Team at our National Store Support Centre in Rochedale. You’ll combine hands-on transactional expertise with team leadership, mentoring and process improvement, while playing a key role in supporting the successful delivery of business and transformation initiatives.

As 2IC to the Transactional Services Manager, your impact will be to: \n

\n
• Lead, support and mentor the Transactional Services Team across onshore and offshore operations, including coordinating training and cross-training
\n
• Oversee core Accounts Payable processes, including invoice approvals and reviews, supplier payments, rent, month-end processing and reporting
\n
• Manage supplier onboarding and bank account changes in line with policy
\n
• Own the Dynamic Virtual Card program, including card issuance, compliance checks, cancellations and reporting
\n
• Oversee technician invoice processing and work with key stakeholders to resolve anomalies
\n
• Manage the AP email inbox and provide timely, professional support to internal and external stakeholders
\n
• Oversee ExpenseMe Pro and RapidAP administration, including employee onboarding/offboarding, financial delegations, cost centres, project codes and expense types
\n
• Support Payment Times Reporting and other financial reporting requirements, providing accurate and timely information to key stakeholders
\n
• Step into the Transactional Services Manager role when required, providing leadership and continuity across the function
\n
• Contribute to transformation, process improvement and project initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency
\n

What you bring \n

\n
• Experience in a high-volume transactional environment, ideally across Accounts Payable and Receivable
\n
• Experience leading, mentoring or supporting a team, with the confidence to step into a Team Leader role
\n
• Strong understanding of transactional finance processes and a high level of accuracy
\n
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
\n
• A proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify process improvements
\n
• A collaborative approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
\n
