Senior Manager, Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Description

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for leading Cuscal's enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, performance management, and management reporting activities. Acting as the central point of integration across the organisation, the role ensures the business operates from a single, aligned view of financial performance, outlook, risks and opportunities.

The role designs, builds and leads Cuscal's central FP&A operating model, establishing the processes, governance, systems, reporting cadence and analytical frameworks that underpin effective decision-making.

It coordinates and consolidates planning and reporting activities across business units, functions and geographies. Through strong leadership, coordination and continuous improvement, the role builds the capability, tools and operating discipline that allow the broader FP&A function to deliver high-quality insights and support the achievement of Cuscal's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Cuscal's enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance management processes
• Own and maintain central planning assumptions, including inflation, FX, wage growth, cost drivers, timing assumptions, and other Group-wide inputs
• Coordinate inputs across Business Unit Finance, Strategic Finance, Investments, Pricing, Product, Procurement and other contributors into a single Group forecast
• Partner with Strategic Finance team to ensure alignment between near, medium, and long-range planning
• Own Group forecast and analysis consolidation across Australian and New Zealand entities, including intercompany recharges and statutory adjustments
• Drive integration of acquisitions into single planning framework and financial narrative
• Own the Group FP&A operating mechanisms, including planning processes, reporting cadence, governance and templates
• Lead budget, forecast, month-end, Board and management reporting cycles across the
• Group
• Coordinate statutory and management forecasts across business units, functions and entities
• Lead monthly performance reporting and communication of financial results, risks and opportunities to Board and management
• Develop high-quality models, analysis, reporting and decision-support materials for executives and stakeholders
• Develop analytics across revenue, costs, margins, investment, workforce and operational performance
• Lead automation, standardisation and continuous improvement of FP&A processes

Qualifications

Essential:

• 10+ years in Enterprise/Group central FP&A, commercial finance
• 5+ years leading a finance partnering team or material finance workstream in a complex organisation
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and scenario/risk analysis
• Strong financial modelling and management reporting experience
• Experience delivering high-quality Board papers and executive management reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint skills
• Experience driving automation for FP&A processes

Desirable

• Payments, banking, financial services, or APRA-regulated environment
• Experience supporting integration, transformation, or operating model change
• Experience with reporting & planning systems such as Workday, TM1
• Strong financial modelling, consolidation, and reporting capability
• Process design, automation, and change leadership
• Demonstrated people leadership, coaching and capability building skills, including navigating ambiguity and change
