About the Opportunity

\n

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Front Office Duty Manager to join our team on a Permanent Full Time basis.

\n

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Country Club & Resort during your shift, ensuring exceptional service is delivered to members, guests and visitors at all times. As a hands‐on leader, you will support and guide the Front Office team, work closely with Housekeeping and other departments, and play a key role in maintaining smooth operations across the property.

\n

You will supervise daily operations, resolve guest concerns, support team development, maintain service standards, and help create a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and employees. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front and thrives in a fast‐paced environment.

As RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, this Permanent Full Time role requires flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

As a Front Office Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day‐to‐day operation of Healesville Country Club & Resort.

\n

Your key responsibilities will include:

\n

\n
• Lead, supervise and support the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
\n
• Respond to guest enquiries, requests and feedback promptly and professionally
\n
• Ensure smooth Front Office operations, including check‐in, check‐out and guest services
\n
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Maintenance and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
\n
• Assist with training, coaching and development of team members
\n
• Support resort operations and maintain awareness of conferences, events and activities across the property
\n
• Monitor property presentation and service standards to ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience
\n
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
\n
• Respond to incidents and emergencies as required and support resort-wide operational needs
\n

\n

What you'll need to be successful

\n

\n
• Previous experience in a Front Office supervisory, Duty Manager or leadership role within a hotel, resort or hospitality environment
\n
• Experience in a 4-5 star hotel or resort environment, with Opera PMS experience highly regarded
\n
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop team members
\n
• Excellent communication, problem‐solving and guest service skills
\n
• Confidence in managing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast‐paced environment
\n
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and the ability to remain calm under pressure
\n
• Current Driver Licence
\n
• Hold a valid Working With Children Check or be willing to obtain one
\n
• Excellent personal presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality
\n
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
\n
