An exciting opportunity is available for a part-time Pharmacy Student atNorthern Private Hospital.

\n

The Pharmacy Student supports the Pharmacy team in providing safe, efficient and customer-focused pharmacy services while gaining valuable practical experience and developing professional pharmacy skills under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist.

About the Role \n

Key responsibilities include:

\n

\n
• Assist pharmacists and pharmacy staff with day-to-day pharmacy operations.
\n
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
\n
• Assist with dispensing activities under the supervision and direction of a pharmacist.
\n
• Support the preparation, packaging and labelling of medications as directed.
\n
• Assist customers with general enquiries and refer clinical or medication-related questions to the pharmacist.
\n
• Maintain accurate and organised pharmacy records and documentation.
\n
• Assist with stock management, including receiving, checking, rotating and replenishing stock
\n

About You \n

\n
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Pharmacy (only 2nd or 3rd year students)
\n
• Experience working in a retail pharmacy is essential
\n
• Availability to work flexible shifts (including weekends if required)
\n
• Demonstrated interest in developing a career in pharmacy.
\n
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
\n
• Professional, reliable and responsible approach to work.
\n
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate appropriate professional conduct.
\n
• Willingness to learn and take direction from qualified pharmacy staff.
\n
