Warehouse Coordinator / Storeperson

We are seeking an organised and safety-focused Warehouse Storeperson to support the movement and supply of materials across the business. This is a temporary assignment running through to 31 January 2027, offering full-time hours, Monday to Friday.

The role combines hands-on warehouse activities with inventory administration, materials management, contractor induction and the use of systems including SAP and MAXIMO.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort, store, issue, move, load and unload materials using manual handling techniques and appropriate material handling equipment.
• Unpack, count, weigh and sort incoming materials to verify deliveries are accurate and complete.
• Inspect materials for damage and report damaged goods, overages and shortages.
• Undertake appropriate loss prevention activities and maintain the security of materials.
• Maintain accurate computerised stock inventories and ensure materials are organised, secure and readily accessible.
• Perform general warehouse and stores housekeeping duties and appropriately manage or dispose of waste and packing materials.
• Pack and dispatch materials, maintenance parts and other items to their required destinations.
• Examine returned parts, segregate defective items and notify the relevant internal teams for appropriate disposition.
• Support contractor site inductions, including assisting with site induction presentations and relevant permits such as Permit to Work and Hot Works permits, in accordance with safety requirements.

About you

• A High School Certificate or equivalent, and/or relevant equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse management principles, tools and best practices.
• Basic warehouse administration and maintaining high service standards.
• Experience with inbound and outbound material movements across warehouse networks and with suppliers.
• Experience supporting internal warehouse/stores supply requirements.
• Coordination skills in the management of materials, plant and equipment.
• Previous supply chain-related skills and knowledge.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Experience or familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems.
• The ability to work collaboratively with frontline employees, internal stakeholders, suppliers and freight providers.

• $35-$37 per hour + Super
• Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day (38 hours per week)
• 5 days per week on-site
• Immediate start (pending reference checks and Police Check)
