Assistant Venue Manager
The Baths Middle Brighton is a multi-faceted facility - All Day Dining Cafe (with Takeaway Kiosk) and Events Space located on the water's edge in Brighton with beachfront Port Phillip Bay & Melbourne city views.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Venue Manager who is motivated, hands-on & committed person to support daily operations and help lead our dynamic team.

Task will include but not limited to;
- Supporting the Director in daily operations across the business, working closely together
- Adhering to OH&S and Liquor License compliance
- Maintain policy and procedures
- Leading FOH & BOH teams, ensuring exceptional customer service
- Assist in implementing service improvements and uphold service standards
- Assisting with training, mentoring and motivating staff
- Overseeing opening/closing procedures and facilitating smooth shift transitions
- Managing bookings and floor plans
- Manage staff rosters and shift checklists

Key Qualifications/ Experience
- Must have experience in high-volume Cafe, Restaurant & Event operations
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of hospitality industry experience
- Hands-on, lived knowledge of food & beverage service
- Be a great communicator to lead a young and enthusiastic team
- Responsible for the recruitment of new staff
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
