Pay: $35–$40/hr (based on experience & output)
Location: Melbourne (majority East / South-East suburbs)

The Role \n

We’re looking for a Civil Labourer —ideally a labourer with civil construction/ landscaping experience, and who’s comfortable jumping in a truck when needed. This role is hands‑on and varied: council road recon works + tandem tipper driving .

HR licence is ideal, but not essential —we can help the right person obtain it.

What You’ll Be Doing \n

\n
• Civil labouring on council road reconstruction sites
\n
• Concreting to spec and neat finishes: footpaths, crossovers, kerb & channel. Ideal, but not essential
\n
• General civil tasks (site prep, levels support, backfill/compaction, clean‑up)
\n
• Driving tandem tippers (carting materials, spoil, shifting gear between sites)
\n
• Use tools and small plant (cut‑off saws, compactors, breakers, etc.)
\n
• Work with the Foreman to hit daily targets and keep sites safe and tidy
\n

What We’re Looking For \n

Must have:

• Civil construction experience (local council roadworks/road recon preferred)
\n
• White Card + driver’s licence
\n
• Reliable, hard‑working, team‑first attitude
\n
• Pride in quality
\n

\n

Strongly preferred:

\n

\n
• Experience in civil construction/ landscaping
\n
• Experience driving tandem tippers (or confidence to learn quickly)
\n
• HR licence (ideal) — or willingness to obtain (we can support the right candidate)
\n

\n

Bonus (not essential):

\n

\n
• Asphalting, concreting, Plant tickets (skid steer/excavator), roller tickets, traffic management
\n
