About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone already within Lawrence & Hanson who is ready to take the next step in their career. If you know our customers, understand how our branches operate and are passionate about delivering great service, this role gives you the chance to lead a team, grow the business and make a real impact in your local market.
- Lead and support a busy branch with a focus on service, safety, profitability and team success
- Apply your L&H experience, product knowledge and customer relationships to grow local opportunities
- Build on the strong relationships you already have with customers, suppliers and team members
- Coach, develop and motivate your team while continuing to grow your own leadership capability
What you would do in this role
- Develop and implement a branch business plan to drive sales, margin and sustainable growth
- Manage branch operations, including inventory, service standards, safety, compliance and P&L accountability
- Grow the customer base through proactive trade sales, account management and excellent counter service
- Lead, coach and motivate branch staff to create a strong, supportive and performance-focused culture
- Partner with suppliers to ensure customers have access to the right products, advice and solutions
