Chandler Macleod is recruiting on behalf of our client for multiple Participant Support Officer opportunities across regional and metropolitan NSW. These are long-term labour hire positions offering stability, meaningful work, and the opportunity to provide frontline customer service support within a government environment.

As a Participant Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers and stakeholders, delivering high-quality service through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and email correspondence. This is a customer-focused role requiring strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to manage a variety of enquiries in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

- Deliver exceptional customer service across multiple communication channels \n
- Respond to and resolve enquiries or refer matters to the appropriate team \n
- Manage participant and stakeholder interactions professionally and efficiently \n
- Undertake administrative and operational support activities \n
- Monitor and manage shared inboxes and customer requests \n
- Conduct outbound calls and follow-up activities \n
- Assist with research, reporting, and project support tasks \n
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve service outcomes \n
- Contribute to process improvements and continuous service delivery enhancements \n

Key Criteria To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in customer service, service delivery, administration, or a similar customer-facing role \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \n
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships \n
- Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive or challenging situations \n
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities \n
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy \n

- Ability to attend the office full-time for the initial 12-week training and onboarding period \n
- Capacity to work onsite in the nominated location \n
