About the role
We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and experienced GP Medical Receptionist to join our lovely team at Myhealth Palm Beach. Working across 15-20 hours per week accross Monday to Friday (days and hours to be confirmed on offer), you’ll be the friendly face welcoming patients at the front desk, keeping things running smoothly! * Additional role/hours available at Coolangatta on Thursdays 7am-4:30pm and at Benowa Village various days on a casual basis *
Day in the Life
- Overseeing and maintaining diary scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments)
- Overseeing appointments and bookings
- Managing waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointment
- Assisting with patient and doctor queries
- Utilising appropriate item numbers for appointments
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of reception experience in general practice/healthcare settings.
- Best Practice experience preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
- Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow
- A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice
