The Team & Role

\n

Access is the first point of contact for information and referrals to a wide range of community health, rehabilitation and specialist services provided by Bayside Health - Peninsula. Care Group. In this permanent full time role you will provide leadership and support to all Access intake staff and senior intake nurses. You will recognise and respond to the consumer's clinical and social needs and requirements. escalating any clinical risks and prioritise access to services, for our most vulnerable population. You will ensure timely and responsive access for consumers, to our community health and ambulatory care services.

The position is also required to provide timely and appropriate data and reports to the Access Program Manager, as required and be a key point of liaison and communication for staff and referrers in relation to the Access service.

\n

Responsibilities and sites for Access operations may alter in alignment with Bayside Health service planning goals but the key functions will remain.

Skills & Experience Required

\n

\n
• Relevant tertiary qualification and significant experience in the health or Community service sector
\n
• Experience in managing and or supervising professional staff
\n
• Strong organisational skills
\n
• Hih;y developed verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Experience in leading and developing teams
\n
• Ability to lead and implement new systems and processes (desrable)
\n
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence (desirable)
\n
