About the Role
\n
As a Kitchen Steward, you'll play an essential role in supporting our chefs and kitchen team by ensuring equipment, utensils and work areas are maintained to the highest standard.
\n
This is a hands on role that requires plenty of lifting, manual handling and working in a busy commercial kitchen where space is limited and safety is critical.
\n
What You'll Be Doing

- \n
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment. \n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment. \n
- Assisting with waste removal and stock movement. \n
- Operating commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently. \n
- Using cleaning chemicals in accordance with food safety and workplace procedures. \n
- Supporting the kitchen team to ensure service runs smoothly. \n
- Following food safety, WHS and hygiene standards at all times. \n

What You'll Bring
\n
- \n
- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or stewarding role is essential. \n
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. \n
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting and manual handling. \n
- Comfortable working in hot, fast paced kitchens and confined workspaces. \n
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures. \n
- A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed. \n
- Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays. \n
