About the Role
As an apprentice working with our Host, Orora Packaging, you will gain exposure to preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault finding, equipment servicing, technical drawing interpretation, and modern manufacturing systems. As an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter you will...
- Assist with preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Service, repair and maintain manufacturing machinery
- Support fault finding and troubleshooting activities
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and engineering plans
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Perform measurements using precision instruments
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively within the maintenance team
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Location: Dandenong
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 7.00am – 3.30pm

About you:
- Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- You must be committed to a 4 stage/year apprenticeship

- Commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
