About the Role \n
Based from our Ipswich depot, this role involves operating Multi combinations throughout Central Queensland .
\n
Key responsibilities include:
\n
- \n
- \n
Safely operating Truck & Quad combinations in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
\n - \n
Operating vehicles fitted with an 18-speed manual Road Ranger transmission
\n - \n
Reversing, positioning and manoeuvring Truck & Quad combinations in confined and operational areas
\n - \n
Demonstrating the ability to accurately position Multi combination Truck and Trailers
\n - \n
Coupling and uncoupling trailers safely
\n - \n
Working with the Logistics Supervisor to support loading and unloading activities
\n - \n
Completing required pre-starts, checks and transport documentation
\n - \n
Complying with fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility, safety and operational requirements
\n
About You \n
To be considered for this role, you will have:
\n
- \n
- \n
A current MC licence
\n - \n
Minimum 2–5 years' relevant heavy vehicle driving experience
\n - \n
Demonstrated experience operating Multi combinations
\n - \n
Competency operating an 18-speed manual Road Ranger gearbox
\n - \n
Demonstrated ability to reverse and manoeuvre combination safely and accurately
\n - \n
Strong understanding of heavy vehicle safety and fatigue management requirements
\n - \n
General knowledge of NHVAS and the transport and logistics industry
\n - \n
Ability to follow instructions and complete work within required timeframes
\n - \n
Physical capability to perform the inherent requirements of the role
\n - \n
Strong reliability, punctuality and professionalism
\n
