Job Description

At TAL, our Group Life business helps protect millions of Australians by partnering with leading superannuation funds to deliver life insurance that is accessible, sustainable and relevant to members’ needs. In this role, you’ll help shape product and pricing outcomes that strengthen one of TAL’s most important partnerships and support the long-term value we create for members. It’s meaningful work that sits at the heart of TAL’s purpose, improving the way people experience protection through their superannuation and contributing to our mission to protect what matters most for Australians and their families.

This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

In this role you will:

• Shape product strategies that support profitability, sustainability and stronger member outcomes.
• Maintain clear product documentation that strengthens tenders, proposals and partner confidence.
• Negotiate complex agreements that support compliant, commercially sound client partnerships.
• Monitor market, competitor and portfolio insights to identify risks and growth opportunities.
• Lead product enhancements that simplify processes and improve the partner and member experience.
• Influence stakeholders to support compliant change and effective product decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bring a tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, business or a related discipline.
• Apply product development or opportunity assessment experience in financial services.
• Use life insurance product knowledge to interpret terms, conditions and pricing approaches.
• Apply strong analytical thinking to support practical, evidence-based product decisions.
• Understand compliance and legislative requirements that shape good product outcomes.
• Communicate clearly through technical documentation, presentations and stakeholder discussions.
