About the role
\n
We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to take ownership of day to day warehouse operations. This role is focused on process, performance, and people.
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control \n
- Oversee logistics and forklift operations to ensure efficient workflows \n
- Implement and improve operational processes and procedures \n
- Lead, train, and support nine warehouse team members \n
- Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance standards \n
- Operate with an owner-operator mentality. Must be proactive and accountable \n
- Contribute to a positive, team-driven workplace culture \n
- Use basic computer systems for tracking and coordination \n

Requirements

- \n
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations \n
- Strong leadership and team management skills \n
- Organised, self-starter with a hands-on approach \n
- Valid forklift licence \n
- Experience in the metal industry preferred but not required \n
\n
