About the Role

We’re looking for a practical, organised and switched-on person to join our team in a varied, hands‑on role based primarily from our Eagle Farm workshop and warehouse, with regular work at customer sites across South East Queensland.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be doing the same thing every day.

One day you could be in the workshop building and testing chain slings, preparing customer orders and managing stock. The next, you might be out with the team carrying out equipment inspections, load testing or assisting with the installation of a height safety system.

You’ll play an important role in keeping our workshop and warehouse running efficiently while developing specialised skills and gaining experience working directly with customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will include a mix of:

• Managing stock levels and keeping the workshop and warehouse organised

• Receiving incoming goods and checking supplier deliveries

• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders

• Ordering stock and liaising with suppliers as required

• Building chain slings and other custom lifting products

• Operating test equipment and carrying out proof-load testing

• Preparing equipment and materials for upcoming jobs and installations

• Assisting with height safety installations at customer sites

• Carrying out inspections, servicing and tagging of lifting and height safety equipment as required

• Attending customer sites throughout South East Queensland

• Maintaining accurate equipment, testing and inspection records

• Helping ensure our workshop, vehicles and equipment remain organised and ready for work

• Providing professional and helpful service to our customers

What We’re Looking For

More than anything, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn.

You’ll be comfortable taking responsibility for your work, using initiative and managing your workload without close supervision.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A current Australian Driver’s Licence

• A current Construction White Card

• A current Dogging High Risk Work Licence

• A current Forklift Licence

You’ll also have:

• Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage stock, orders and multiple priorities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including email, Excel and iPad‑based systems
• A practical approach to problem‑solving
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• The ability to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, including manual handling and working at heights

Highly Regarded

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

• A current Rigging High Risk Work Licence

• EWP Licence
• Working at Heights certification
• Experience in lifting and rigging, warehousing, mechanical work, fabrication, construction, maintenance or a similar hands‑on industry
