About The Role

Join our team as a Data Center Technician in Edinburgh Parks, Australia. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll support critical infrastructure at world-class data center facilities.

Compensation & Benefits

A$78,000-98,000/year (AUD annual)

Work Schedule
\n

- Full-time permanent position \n
- Standard business hours with on-call rotation \n
- Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable \n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment \n
- Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic) \n
- Execute hardware deployments and decommissions \n
- Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security) \n
- Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting \n
- Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking \n
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams \n
- Participate in capacity planning and upgrades \n
- 3+ years data center operations experience \n
- Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber) \n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities \n
- Experience with rack and stack operations \n
- Understanding of power distribution and UPS systems \n
- Excellent documentation and communication skills \n
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments \n
- Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) - preferred \n
- Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) - preferred \n
- Network certifications (CCNA, JNCIA) - preferred \n
- Experience with DCIM platforms - preferred \n
- Knowledge of ITIL practices - preferred \n
