Local to the Gold Coast, we are leading civil connection specialists delivering new and upgraded water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure for local developments.

Working with organisations such as Gold Coast Water, Gold Coast City Council, tier 1 & 2 builders and developers, we have built a fierce reputation for delivering complex, challenging infrastructure projects.

And we're looking for an experienced Warehouse & Procurement Manager to join our growing team.

\n

What You'll Be Doing

\n

This is not just a warehouse role. You'll own the systems behind YTB's depot, stock, materials, plant and equipment – making sure our crews have the right resources, in the right place, at the right time. The goal is simple: Our field teams should never be held up because materials weren't ordered, stock wasn't available, equipment wasn't maintained or the warehouse wasn't organised.

You'll be responsible for:

\n

\n
• Managing the yard, warehouse and storage areas, including organisation, housekeeping and material storage standards
\n
• Owning materials procurement once project requirements and delivery timing have been confirmed
\n
• Managing stock levels, minimum holdings, replenishment and regular stocktakes
\n
• Developing and maintaining practical digital systems for stock, plant and equipment control
\n
• Tracking servicing intervals, inspections, compliance requirements and maintenance status
\n
• Coordinating servicing and repairs with external providers
\n
• Developing simple and effective systems for field crews to report plant and equipment defects
\n
• Ensuring reported defects are followed through and resolved
\n
• Making sure plant, tools, equipment and materials are ready for upcoming projects
\n
• Managing and coordinating Field & Logistics Support activities
\n
• Maintaining a safe, organised and highly functional warehouse and depot
\n
• Understanding plans, BOMs and material requirements for major projects
\n
• Preparing material take-offs so fittings and orders are ready before projects go live
\n
• Coordinating material deliveries and supplier requirements
\n
• Working closely with the Works Coordinator and project teams to understand upcoming requirements
\n
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating pricing, availability and delivery outcomes
\n
• Identifying opportunities to reduce wastage, improve purchasing and control costs
\n
• Continuously improving warehouse, procurement and asset-management systems as YTB grows
\n

You'll also need:

• Confidence using digital systems and software
\n
• Ability to plan ahead
\n
• Strong communication skills
\n
• Ability to work closely with field crews, supervisors, suppliers and management
\n
• Commercial awareness around purchasing and stock control
\n
• Current manual driver's licence
\n
• Positive attitude, great work ethic and a strong handshake!

Experience within civil construction, plumbing, infrastructure, utilities, building supplies or a similar trade environment will be highly regarded.
