$80,000 - $90,000 (higher salary will be considered commensurate to qualifications and experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo or materials.
• Work in remote locations and drive long distances.
• Deliver goods via heavy haulage trucks, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states.
• Transport hazardous materials.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain working operations, record any defects they find.
• Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
• Position blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo for transport.
• Maintain radio or telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
• Complete paperwork documenting delivery information, miles driven and expenses.
• Take orders for new deliveries.
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
• Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows.
• Keep record of materials and products transported.
• Keep a log of activities.
• Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
• Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking.
• Take special precautions while driving.

Qualifications and Experience:

• AQF certificate II or III
• Valid Australian MC truck licence
• Minimum of 3 years recent heavy/multi-combination driving experience
• Able to work with, maintain and carry out general repairs and maintenance on pumps, meters and related equipment
• Demonstrate sound geographic knowledge – Perth and WA
• Be highly reliable with a first-class approach to safety and customer service, good communication skills
• Fatigue Management Certificate
• Able to pass a drug and alcohol and pre-employment medical
• MSIC Card
• Load restraint certificate
• Dogs and chain experience
• Side and End Tipper experience

Maintenance Planner (ANZSCO: 312911 - Maintenance Planner)

Full-time/Permanent

$80,000 - $90,000 (salary will be considered commensurate to qualifications and experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain an up-to-date fleet register for prime movers, heavy vehicles, trailers and cargo-handling equipment.
• Record registrations, odometer readings, inspection dates, service histories, warranty details and reported faults.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans based on fleet use, manufacturer guidance and heavy-vehicle roadworthiness requirements.
• Arrange servicing, inspections and repairs to improve vehicle availability and minimise delivery disruption.
• Prepare maintenance work orders and coordinate technicians, parts, external providers and workshop availability.
• Review defects reported by drivers and prioritise repairs according to safety, compliance and operational needs.
• Coordinate with drivers, transport staff and management to release vehicles for maintenance and return them to service promptly.
• Monitor stocks of common parts, tyres and service supplies and arrange replenishment as needed.
• Estimate labour, parts and contractor costs and assist with fleet maintenance budgets.
• Coordinate repairers, tyre suppliers, inspectors and specialist contractors, reviewing service quality and costs.
• Maintain complete records of work orders, inspections, invoices, repairs and maintenance outcomes.
• Analyse recurring defects and downtime, report on fleet readiness and support safe, compliant and timely transport services.

Relevant Qualification/Experience

• Relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or at least 3 years of relevant experience in place of the qualification
• Applicants with a relevant qualification will require a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience planning or coordinating maintenance for heavy vehicles, trailers or commercial transport equipment
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, vehicle inspections, repair scheduling and fleet roadworthiness requirements
• Experience maintaining asset registers, work orders, maintenance schedules and service histories
• Competence in Microsoft Office and fleet or maintenance-management software

Transport Manager (ANZSCO: 149413 - Transport Company Manager)

$80,000 - $90,000 (salary will be considered commensurate to qualifications and experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage metropolitan, regional and interstate transport services, including door-to-door, express and general freight deliveries.
• Prepare daily and forward transport schedules based on freight volumes, service priorities, delivery windows and fleet availability.
• Allocate appropriately licensed drivers and suitable vehicle combinations based on cargo dimensions, weight, destination and urgency.
• Track vehicle locations and shipment progress using transport-management, communication and live tracking systems.
• Coordinate collections, transfers and deliveries with customers, drivers, warehouses, depots and logistics partners.
• Manage breakdowns, traffic disruptions, delivery delays and other service issues, arranging alternatives where needed.
• Plan the purchase, hire and allocation of vehicles, trailers, fuel and other transport resources.
• Work with maintenance staff to schedule inspections and repairs and prevent unroadworthy vehicles from being dispatched.
• Monitor fuel, labour, maintenance, subcontractor and vehicle costs and identify ways to improve productivity.
• Set cargo-handling procedures for safe loading, secure restraint and transit, and damage-free unloading.
• Check driver licences and work records and oversee fatigue, load-restraint, chain-of-responsibility and workplace-safety compliance.
• Supervise and develop transport staff and report on delivery performance, fleet use, costs and regulatory compliance.

Relevant Qualification/Experience
